$100 gift card on BlackBerry purchases from Wal-Mart

This holiday season has more things to watch out for, as the Wal-Mart Stores Inc., USA, has come up with some wonderful offers again. In order to attract more holiday shoppers and to retain its customer database, the Wal-Mart Stores has this tempting offer of a $100 gift card on the purchase of a Blackberry phone for one whole week on particular models.

The exclusive offer starts at 8 o’clock in the morning on November 14th and might stretch till 21th November probably. The Wal-Mart said that this is actually applicable to the purchases of a mixture of Blackberry phone devices, that is also coupled with a 2-year contract from one of four major wireless companies.

These wireless companies are AT&T Inc., Deutsche Telekom unit T-Mobile, Sprint Nextel Corporation, and a joint venture between Vodafone and Verizon Communications called Verizon Wireless. [adsense]The Blackberry models on the offer include a different range of devices from these wireless carriers, they are the AT&T Curve 8310, The Sprint Curve 8330 (available in red and titanium colors), the Verizon Storm and the T-Mobile 8520 (available in black, white and frost shades).

The Wal-Mart allows the customers to use the gift card on the same day or they can also keep it to use for other purchases that can be made in the holiday season. Offers like this does assist the company in expanding its market share, thereby increasing sales and revenues, as it is more about the brand value of both the Wal-Mart and the Blackberry, as the Blackberry is already one of the leading mobile companies that gets into tie-ups with other leading businesses.

The last week too, witnessed the world’s largest retailer offering its top 10 pre-order DVD movie titles at a nominal amount of $10, with free home delivery on its entire bunch of mixture of DVD and Blu-ray titles.

I heard on the news that several large retailers are offering free shipping and guaranteed christmas delivery on December 17th. I am sure that we will be seeing more specials like these to increase holiday spending in this economy.

  2. Walmart is taking over…Its bad enough that they squash competition with affordable prices, but this leaves the average joe not being able to sell blackberry. 100 gift card awesome.
