People selling Babies on Ebay! Pathetic!

Its a common saying that on internet everything is possible. Whoever said this seriously meant it. Have you ever heard of a Baby getting on sale in market? I am sure you did not because this is fairly a new idea for all of us. But this doesn’t seem to be anything unusual to a Bavarian couple.

Police in Germany took a 7 month old Baby away from this couple who had put their Baby on Sale in a famous market place.

And guess which market place? Yes, you guessed it right. It is EBAY, the largest online market stores. Ebay really means it when it says you can simply sell or buy anything on it.

Just until yesterday, an advertisement flashed through the online market which read “Baby male available to buy, just 8 months old, sleeps well, and does not cry much at nights, good for infertile couples who are in desparate need of a Baby”.

This ad went live for just two hours after which Ebay removed it from its listing. The price of this Baby started at 1 Euro which approximately $1.56. Police said that someone informed them about such an ad after which they came into action. They immediately handed over the Baby to Welfare association and Charged the parents of child Trafficking.

Chief of Police said that though children are annoying at times, but selling them is not the solution. He says that they are yet to know the reasons for which child was being sold. When interrogated, the couple said that it was just a joke to see how many people would respond to it.

Well if it was a joke, then it sure was a bad one. If they really did it for a laugh, then they have to pay a heavy price in return for it. But if they really meant to sell the Baby, then they deserve getting severe punishment.

What do you all feel?

Trying to win $30 million by giving Wierd Explanation

Since the outsourching of companies to far east, America has been on the verge of unemployment which seems to be increasing day by day. And the sudden lay offs are pretty common these days. You never know when you would be fired from your job, so everybody needs to ensure a backup plan.

The same was the idea of Peter smith from Michigan who happened realise the risk factor in his job and hence started to look out for jobs in other companies. Much to his fear, Peter who is aged 45 now, got fired from his job and he claims this happened during his illness. He works for a Big Financial firm.

He filed a law suit against this firm for kicking him out of job while he was ill. It was a $30 million law suit which he was confident of winning. Atleast thats what looked like.

But unfortunately, Peter did not do his Homework properly. During the illness, in pursuit of another job, he had given interview in another firm for a job post with full energy and in good health. when asked peter said that he was merely using a different personality while giving the interview :-)

This discovery was made during the investigation and the case fell back on him. Not only did he lose the lawsuit, he was also punished financially and with 6 months of jail term for putting a false and improper case.

Poor Peter, he should have atleast ensured that he stayed home while he was sick. That one job interview costed him $30 million, which he would have never earned even if he works in that company for next 100 years.

But Seriously, Amazing explanation was given by peter! Alternate personality!  :-)

Black Cabs in London have been called off

This was a strange call off for Londoners this week when nearly hundreds of Black Taxi Cabs were asked to get off the roads after the much engine fire stories that have been around for quite some time.

The British Capital’s public transport system which is run by the TFL, asked for enquiry into nearly 650 taxis in August after series of reports on engines catching fire mysteriously. This was common for a particular model called the TX4.

Although no casualties have been reported yet, the Transport for london said that they are suspending the licenses of all the TX4 cabs with immediate effect which have 56 licence plate.

It was reported earlier that complains kept coming about sudden burst of engines into fire causing much danger to the lives of drivers and its passenger.

A check has been carried out to find out the exact reason for such incidents. Around 22,000 black cabs run across london daily. Well, i guess its time for londoners to start using alternate transport for sometime now.

Pizza Guy fined for Delivering Pizza on time

When was the last time your pizza delivery guy came late? well if he does that frequently, then fire him and hire this Australian Pizza Delivery guy who delivers Pizza on time come what may!

This Australian Pizza man re-defined the meaning of “Fast Food” when he was caught for speeding at 33 miles per hour over the speed limit, just in order to ensure that pizza delivers on time.

When asked he said that he was already 20 minutes late in delivering the pizza and he had to speed down within few minutes. He said “I knew the speed limit and wouldn’t have crossed it in normal circumstances, but here it was the question of our word, hence had to speed up”.

Police did not catch him while he was on his way to deliver the pizza in tropical northern town of Townsville. Rather they allowed him to deliver the Pizza on time and then while returning again He crossed the speed limit to reach another destination.

He was booked for speeding and endangering the traffic. He was caught at a speed of 82 miles per hour in the area with speed limit of only 50 miles per hour. Police booked him to pay a fine of $1221. This Pizza guy also lost his license for 16 months.

So much for delivering Pizza on time. But one should appreciate his effort in keeping his word when he said “on time”! :-)
