Panasonic has done it again with HDC-HS350 camcorder

panasonicEach time Panasonic releases its new camcorders it exceeds all limits of expectations. People are bound to get carried away with their devices and its features. This time we get to see a deeply impressing Panasonic HDC-HS350.

As this was announced recently we do not know much about its specifications other than what was written on its body. The price information is also not yet leaked but we expect to know about it in the closest time. Panasonic HDC-HS350 is AVCHD capable camcorder. AVCHD is nothing but a recording and playback format patented by Panasonic for compressing MPEG-4 AVC/H.264 media files. This is the technical information about AVCHD. To understand it in simple terms it means that the record quality is same as on Blu-Ray disk.

Panasonic HDC-HS350 sports 3Mos 10.6 megapix sensor, Advanced O. I. S., Random iA and 12x optical zoom thanks to LEICA lenses. In spite of all these features Panasonic HDC-HS350 does not become a perfect camcorder, what makes it perfect is not its recording quality but its enormous storage capacity of 240GB. It means that it will be able to record HD video at 17Mbps in in 1920 x 1080 resolution for whopping 31 hours 40 minutes. If you are not satisfied by 31 hours you can also record up to 100 hours but only in 1440 x 1080 at 6Mbps.

The uninterrupted shooting is possible only if the battery lasts for that many long hours. However, like any other battery, the battery in the HDC-HS350 is also an issue as it won’t be able to outlast for that long.

Eventually, irrespective of the battery life the Panasonic HDC-HS350 has given all of us a mouth dropping experience with the record breaking 240GB HDD.
