The T-Mobile has been into the market with its Android phones since long, but some new entries like Motorola Droid, HTC Droid Incredible and so on have taken the world of Android with a storm.

But T-Mobile is back with its MyTouch 3G Slide which possesses all the midrange features and is a user friendly phone with custom UI.

Though it cannot be termed as the powerhouse like a smartphone, but the benefits it offers to its users are simply appreciable.

Priced at $179.99 which is a bit higher when compared to other Android phones on the market, the T-Mobile MyTouch 3G Slide has got that subtle look like its other MyTouch family members with rectangular plastic body and a slide-out QWERTY keyboard.

With the dimensions 4.6×2.4×0.6 (length x width x thickness) and weight 5.8 ounces which looks a bit heavier, the phone gives an overall solid feel.

Its smooth 3.4-inch capacitive touchscreen with HGVA resolution is amazing with four shortcut keys for home, menu, back and a so called ‘Genius’ button (use voice commands for calls, text, and maps), just below it.

The overall package includes the T-Mobile MyTouch 3G Slide in a plastic case that comes with an AC adaptor, a wired stereo headset, an 8GB microSD card, a USB cable, etc.

As the T-Mobile MyTouch 3G Slide runs on the Android version 2.1, you can see all the important apps like Microsoft Exchange support, Quickoffice, HTML web browser, MyTouch Music, Google apps that even include Google maps with navigation and speech-to-text also.

This quad band phone comes with all the wireless network connectivity options like Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, GPS, and 3G network.

The T-Mobile MyTouch 3G Slide has got a 600MHz processor, and the battery type is 1300mAh lithium ion.

With all its capabilities, there are downsides too where the Faves Gallery does not reflect the latest information and the image quality is also not that superb.

Although the T-Mobile MyTouch 3G Slide is not the flashiest Android phone around, but its user friendly interface and the midrange features make the phone a worth buy for the first time buyers of the smartphones.
